PHI Clinical Research Studies

Prince Henry’s Institute is committed to improving health through hormone research.

Several studies at PHI are currently seeking volunteers to participate in our clinical research studies:

Contraception for Men

Prince Henry’s Institute at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton in collaboration with the World Health Organisation is trialing a new male contraceptive method. We need healthy couples living in a stable relationship and not planning pregnancy for two years. Interested men need to be 18-45 years and in good health.

Healthy Man Study

Are you a man older than 40? Do you feel well and healthy? We want to know the secret of your wellbeing. Please come and tell us!

Prince Henry’s Institute at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton is studying the health of middle aged and older men to see how good it can be. We invite your to join our Healthy Man Study. This involves 5 visits over 3 months, physical examination and blood tests, no treatment.

Healthy post menopausal women required for an ovarian cancer study

We are looking to compare differences in proteins in blood and urine of healthy post menopausal women and ovarian cancer patients in the hope of developing an effective screening test for ovarian cancer.

We require 15 minutes of your time, some basic health information and a small sample of blood and urine.
